MiMaster – Workshop “The game project” – May, 2025 – Milan

Just concluded at MiMaster in Milan, an exciting workshop conducted by Irene Guerrieri in collaboration with Ergo Ludo editions, which launched the product briefing.

The course aimed to provide the basic tools of the Toy and Game Designer profession, through which one learns to design and create an educational game at a prototype level, studying the design of its components, but also the objectives that distinguish the proposal. All this was achieved starting from a market analysis and a direct comparison with the company in the sector that is invited by the teacher to launch the project brief.

The students were involved in the creation of a concept that meets the guidelines dictated by the project briefing received, and then move on to its integral design and creation, as well as the creation of functionality and usability tests.

Throughout the process, the students were guided by the teacher through a consolidated working method.
During the lessons, various topics were explored, including: the analysis of shapes, the choice of language, narration, the contribution of logical-mathematical schemes, materials. The theoretical phase was constantly accompanied by practical exercises.
