10 Nov “Touch, explore and learn” Quid + & Plasmon… together for an educational proposal
My contribution to this project that involved many people and two important brands was to design the shape, and design the contents. Fine motor skills are motor control through hand-eye coordination on small movements, in particular hands and fingers, which is essential for developing in the youngest those skills that are indispensable in everyday life: from holding the spoon to hold in the hand a pencil for coloring. We live in an era in which the touch screen seems to prevail over manual skills and the manipulation of objects that, on the other hand, is very important in the first years of children’s life.
Irene Guerrieri is an architect specialized in design for kids.
Important Leading companies in the toy, children’s publishing, accessories and children’s furniture sector are turning to her to renew and give a new launch to their product range.
Irene is also a lecturer at graduate schools, where she holds a Toy-Design Workshop, teaching an innovative and fun design method.
