31 Mag i-code & i-theatre… two new educational proposals for the little ones
These are versatile and complete educational supports for activities aimed at developing skills.
i-theatre promotes the development of narrative and metacognitive thinking with a view to co-constructing stories created by a group of children and subsequently represented and shared with a wider audience. It stimulates divergent thinking through creative and ideational paths that allow children to approach multimedia languages in a personal and original way. It integrates traditional expressive activities – such as drawing or collage – with the use of technologies – such as the use of digital and multimedia tools – in an intuitive and interactive way.
i-code is an educational coding solution designed for children aged 3 and up, consisting of a series of tiles and a tablet application. It allows a gradual approach to logical-deductive thinking and problem solving through laboratory, experimental and game activities. The simple and immediate interface offers children ample opportunities for expression and language, allowing the development of increasingly rich and articulated narrative and collaborative activities – in natural continuity with curricular educational activities.
Irene Guerrieri contributed to the finalization of these two projects created by Edutech, being part of a team of professionals led by Giovanni Fumagalli, which also included Dorotea Panzarella and Edoardo Valenti.

Irene is also a lecturer at graduate schools, where she holds a Toy-Design Workshop, teaching an innovative and fun design method.
